The house is on a big corner lot with miles of hiking trails behind it, on a quiet tree lined street. Great for joggers and nature lovers. There is a small lake at the top of the hill and during super bloom the hillside explodes with flowers and butterflies. Your front door opens onto a little known pathway straight into the park. You can hear birds chirping all the time as the park is also a bird sanctuary. There's also lots of yard space on the property, so if you like to garden, you can definitely have a plot all to yourself, or just hang a hammock from the pine trees and call it a day. 5 minute drive to all the great bars and restaurants on Figueroa (when quarantine is lifted) and 12 minutes from DTLA. Small well trained dog ok upon approval. No cats. Utilities are shared as a single household and are split by # of people. We are two upstairs, so if you are two downstairs we will split 4 ways, or if you're one downstairs we will split 3 ways. Typically comes to around $120/mo and includes everything: gas, electric, high speed wifi etc. Who you are: I'm looking for someone clean, responsible and respectful who has been searching for a quiet oasis from the grind. I put a lot of TLC into creating the space and want to make sure whomever moves in, takes good care of it. The apartment is totally private, so you never have to interact with us, but you are welcome to join us for BBQing in the backyard or gardening. We are two housemates upstairs, both late 30s. LQBTQI friendly. First month plus security upon move in. One year lease, then month to month. Move in available Sept 1st.
