Fresh and spacious room for rent in Carrington House, a large home converted to condos on Gibbs Ave. 180 square ft. room with newly finished wood floors, a fireplace, and two full size closets. Carrington House sits among historic homes in a quiet hilltop neighborhood overlooking Easton's Beach, within minutes of Newport's attractions and nightlife. Its convenient location is only one piece of what makes this home special. The high ceilings, sunlit rooms, and open floor plan make this an elegant and comfortable place to live. Outside, the terrace overlooks a sprawling lawn with Easton's Beach visible through the trees. Easy walk to the beach, the famous Cliff Walk, and into town. Use of the large private terrace, living and dining rooms, and galley kitchen. Your Room: Fully furnished with queen size bed, two full closets, dresser and desk. I'm comfortable with you putting whatever you'd like in your space, including artwork and whatever you'd like to do within reason, provided that at the end of your stay, your space is exactly as it was when you arrived. This includes making sure any damage done is repaired/replaced to the standard that it was given to you. This includes the bed, room, furniture, and other equipment that you'll use during your stay. If you know how you can do it yourself, or have it professionally done if that's your speed. Parking: Directly in front of the building, assigned spaces. Smoking: There's a terrace out back where smoking is fine, just not in the condo. If you're curious about the specifics, I've got a doc that has more details available upon request! I do first month's rent and security on signing, at that point we're locked in and waiting for move in day I am fine with cats/dogs, but I would like to meet them before it's a yes. Our property here has a "Neighborly Animals" clause that means that they've got to be the right animal. Other neighbors on the property have dogs, but they definitely fall in the goofy/friendly category. I'm not against smoking, however I ask that it be on the back terrace if you do.
