Cathy and George operated the apartment as a highly successful vacation rental from 2005 to 2024, with nearly 700 reviews (4.92/5) on Airbnb alone since 2013, and many many more on VRBO, HomeAway etc. Cathy sadly passed away in April 2024 and George decided to make the change to long term rental from November of that year. Note Apartment is fully furnished, with all bedding, linens, towels, washcloths etc. provided. Landlord pays for heating (hot water baseboard), water heating, water and sewer, electricity, snow plowing driveway, trash collection, landscaping and internet. Wood stove is recreational, not needed to keep apartment warm. Renter pays for firewood. Pets (dogs/cats) permitted but check with us if dog is large (over 40 lbs). Dogs may not be left unattended in apartment, unless they are quiet and in a crate. In the case of cats, renter needs to take precautions against cat scratching furniture (paw mittens; scratching post etc.) Parking is free with space for several vehicles. Smoking (including vaping, e-cigarettes, cannabis etc.) inside apartment is not permitted; smoking on the outside deck is OK as long as due regard is paid to people on upstairs balcony. Renter is responsible for keeping the apartment clean and also snow clearing on deck and their around parked vehicle(s). Renter should discuss with owner if they wish to move or substantially rearrange furniture, paintings etc. Lease is for 6-month minimum starting 1st May 2026.
