Created by Palm Springs designer and builder A. Belden Crist (whose father designed many traditional revival style homes for prominent Los Angeles people in the 20s and 30s ) This was Crist's personal home and the attention to detail shows by the thoughtful placement of the house on the lot so as to offer sweeping west and south mountain views from most of the rooms. Crist was also careful to make sure each and every space in the home was light filed with an abundance of clerestory windows, skylights, and sliders throughout while a sunken living room was anchored by a large fireplace flanked on both sides by large panes of floor to ceiling glass.
