I am a late 30s, nope now I must say 40s :-(, gay man who splits his time between this home and NYC. I am looking for people who enjoy socializing when they have time (euchre?), and are cognizant of the needs of others. I use a chore list that rotates each week, with fines from those who don't do their chore going to whoever picks up the extra chore. The home features access to: * free washer and dryer * fenced in back yard with patio and garden * large side yard perfect for hosting BBQ/games * wood burning fireplace * tv with a library of over 700 movies * central a/c and heat * storage in basement * china cabinet to put some of your family photos/accomplishments to make space feel more like your home vs a sterile rental * gut renovated in past year large kitchen with: two refrigerators for ample food storage space gas convection stove dishwasher & garbage disposal The home is well cared for with recent improvements including high-end siding and high efficiency windows to reduce utilities. Details: There are a total of 3 bedrooms for rent, 1.5 baths. I will be around ~20% of the time, if that, in a 4th bedroom. When I visit I may bring my dog with me. The house is located near the UofM commuter bus, and the AATA 24, 25, 64 and 28A/B Heat/electric is shared on top of rent and runs from 35 during the spring/fall to 85 in the cold of winter High speed internet is optional at 15/month Parking is not included, but readily available on the street Any dog must have papers to show it is current on all vaccinations Leases are a minimum of 1 year No smoking on the premises. Vaping outdoors is acceptable. Parking is not provided for in the lease. There is ample street parking. One may use the driveway when it is not needed for football Saturdays, but you will be towed at your expense if parking on the property on a home game. There is a clause in the lease that disturbing other tenants enjoyment of the home is grounds for termination of the lease to ensure I can adequately protect everyone's right to enjoy their home. Dogs require additional security deposit and preference is provided to those with dogs that have been crate trained.
