    What's special

PRIVATE ROOF DECK! - This beautiful penthouse loft was featured in, "Country Living Magazine", with an article and photos celebrating the wonderful eclectic style, and interior decor, that makes this home such a delightful abode. This penthouse is a floor- through with enormous windows and five skylights that allow light to travel through the entire space. Enter directly from the keyed elevator into the foyer. The Dining Area is located at the entrance of the loft, with windows facing west, it currently has a table that seats eight with plenty of room for comfort. In the center of the loft is the Living Area, which houses a Wood Burning Fireplace, surrounded by a large sofa and two sitting chairs. There is an ottoman strategically placed, in front of the fire, to plop your feet down to warm on a cold night. The kitchen is set back in an alcove, with abundant storage including an enormous pantry to keep all your dry foods, canned goods and other items that don't need refrigeration. There are plenty of cabinets. and an island with a large counter space for friends and family to sit and enjoy a glass of wine from the wine cooler, conveniently located under the island. The Den situated beside the kitchen forms a Great Room with ample space for lounging, reading or watching a movie. At the back of the loft, off the hallway, are two bedrooms, a utility room with a front load washer and dryer, and two full bathrooms. The second bathroom is conveniently located opposite the guest bedroom. The bedroom comes with a closet and is furnished with a queen size bed, a desk, and a set of drawers, there is a skylight and a window facing south. The bigger bedroom has a walk-in in closet that can accomodate hanging and folded clothes, as well as shoes and accessories. There is a king-sized bed as well as an armoire, dressing table, chaise lounge and a comfy chair. There are a total of three windows in the master bedroom, one facing north and two facing south. The ensuite bath has double sinks, a separate stall shower and a soaking tub; imagine lighting a candle and gazing up to the sky through the skylight above the bath. The loft itself is spectacular, but what makes it 'extra special' is the Private Roof Terrace a 1285 square foot oasis. Walk up a short flight of stairs that lead to the terrace. Currently the terrace is furnished with two lounge chairs, a round table that accommodates six or more with views north, south, east and west. This is a wonderful place to entertain, barbecue, or bring your yoga mat and take an online yoga class. Wood floors are throughout the interior of the loft; the ceiling height is 9' 8". All closets, and the pantry, are beautifully organized by California Closets. Unit has central HVAC that is entirely stand-alone (no shared air ductwork with other units) and is also wired for whole-house Sonos sound. The location is prime Tribeca, with excellent restaurants that are open, and serving food on the cobbled stoned streets in the neighborhood. If you're a coffee lover try the quiet cafe next door - you wont be disappointed. Whole Foods is five minutes away, and if you want to go for a bike ride, or stroll along the promenade, the Hudson River is a block away. Owner will consider furnished for an increased price. Pets are welcome with owner approval.
