This quaint home was my Grandmothers home. The outside hides a lot of "issues" The front door/entry has no existing foundation and is sagging rather badly. The roof needs removed down to the rafters and their was a major leak on the back side that got underneath the siding. When it rains my yard is a catch all for the run off of the road due to my property now sitting below the grade of the road. There is a literal stream that flows around and through my home into the backyard which has developed the beginnings of a sink hole. I had paid a contractor over 30K to remodel the home but he only did about 10k worth of actual work and disappeared. There is no garage or out buildings. The two large Maples on the NW/SW side roots are growing through the foundation that is there. There are no supports under the floor so it humps in the middle. Ran same wiring to everything including my stove, furnace, almost caught fire when the electric furnace first turned on. There is a gap on the NE side of the house that blows into the bathroom. In 2013 there was ice on the tile from this. Why do I live here? Because I am stuck, its all I have and all my money went to the contractor.
