Originally known as the Gladys Scoville House, 405 Rotary Ave was built in 1925 in the popular American Foursquare style. Many years later, local physician Beverly Harris has worked to rekindle the charm of this house. "I have lived in the College View Historic District since 1996. I love this area because of its proximity to ECU, the Uptown area, and the Greenway. I walk Uptown to eat and shop, ride my bike to the post office, walk my dogs in the neighborhood and on the Greenway, and walk to sports and cultural events at ECU. I love the diversity of the people who live in this neighborhood, which makes it a very special one, different from any other neighborhood in Greenville. The architecture and the houses in the College View Historic District are all quite different. I love to restore these houses to their original beauty. With updated kitchens and bathrooms, they have all the modern amenities but retain their historical character. Renovation of these beautiful houses is a passion of mine. The quality of the renovation is excellent. This house has lasted 90 years!" -Owner Beverly Harris To see the full portfolio of before and after pictures of the renovation, go to www.rotarystreetrenovation.com
