Marvelous Snowbird residence. Been doing that for 15 years. Very comfortable in summer! (I use no AC.) Much more comfortable than Washington, D.C., four hours away. Dependably 10 degrees F cooler than there. Excellent access to Seven Springs Ski Resort and the State Parks (Laurel Hill and Kooser), (20 to 30 minute drive), great for cool summer walks in the woods, or skiing in the winter. Possible short term rental for that access. Very nicely located home hallway up the hill overlooking Somerset Borough and distant mountains. Easy walk to downtown. Hospital right there. No long ambulance ride for emergencies. The “garden room” serves nicely as an added bedroom for guests, with direct access to the smaller bath with shower and toilet. The enclosed garage has direct access to the dining room and kitchen. Minimal traffic and traffic noise. Quiet, secure feeling area, away from possible problem sources. Plenty of yard space (away from the street) for gardening flowers or veggies and play space. Very nice, quiet, neighbors. Five minutes to the library (and WiFi).
