Unique arrangement w owners and reasonable rent in a lovely detached garage apartment. Affordable rental situation in exchange for occasional cat sitting in the main house for our 2 awesome felines. We have a quiet, sunny, charming and private 1BR, 1 BA detached garage apartment with garage space for your car in a gorgeous garden setting in a great residential neighborhood. There are tons of eating places and shops within a few blocks. We are 7 mins walk to Bala commuter train to Philly. The apartment is very secure and up a short flight of stairs. Kitchen is small but highly functional w full oven and stove, sink, counter space, bar seating, pantry storage, microwave, and apartment size fridge. Large bathroom includes claw-foot tub w shower, lots of storage, washer and dryer, and big porcelain sink. Large closet for clothes with extra storage for large items, separate bedroom with ample room for a queen bed, and living space with room for sofa and desk or dining table. The large windows on all 4 sides of the unit let light in all day. This is a great place and a unique rental opportunity for the right person or couple. We have had awesome rental experiences so far and are looking for the right person to take over the place later this summer. This is a unique rental/cat-sitting arrangement with us, the owners, who live in the main house. Deal breaker if you don't like cats or if you aren't willing to look after our home fairly consistently when we are travelling, about a week or so every 6-8 weeks. We need someone we can rely on and who we vibe with to look after and hang with our 2 very social and friendly cats. You must be comfortable in a house-sitting situation (mail, trash, lights, etc.), trustworthy and mature, who we can rely on like a member of the family. In exchange you are free to be at home here and enjoy the multiple hang out spots at home and in our lovely garden. Don't worry though about your privacy your entrance to your place and your life is very much your own we will not be "in your business" at all.
