I personally completely rebuilt this house in 2002. It meets or exceeds seismic bracing requirements for new construction, is very energy efficient - insulated, heat pump(includes AC), all new appliances, etc. The house is very dramatic. I designed everything myself and a number of students of architecture have come to see it. It is also very quiet and cozy. I love being there, but I have other interests in Eastern Washington and need to consolidate. This house is unique and would especially appeal to an engineer or an artist.
