The house has central A/C and gas heating with separate units for the top and bottom floors, a gourmet gas stove (with two ovens!), a spacious French-door refrigerator, hardwood floors, and in-house washer/dryer units. There is also lots of space on the main floor (living room, dining room, kitchen, and bike/laundry room) and tons of natural light. The house is located one block from the Tenleytown/AU metro station and next to the 30/31/33/96/H2/N2 bus lines. These bring you right into Columbia Heights (25min), Georgetown (20min), Foggy Bottom (30min), and Dupont (15min) and run very frequently. There are also several gyms in the area, a Whole Foods/CVS across the street, a Giant about 3/4 miles away, and a Trader Joe's about 20 minutes away. A host of other dining spots are in the neighborhood. It's also in a quiet, and safe residential neighborhood. A little about your potential future housemates: we are a co-ed house of young professionals and students in our twenties. We are easy-going, respectful, and clean. We enjoy cooking, rock climbing, and board game nights. Although we are busy with our careers and school, we love to hang out together when we are home, whether it's cooking together, house dinner parties, or a lazy movie night. Important Details: Security Deposit: Equal to a full month's rent Available: October 1st, 2024, is the earliest move-in date. Lease term: Min 12 months Utilities: Tenant pays for of the utilities.
