(Valid from 04/07/2024 till 05/04/2024) We fell in love with this newer (2016) custom-built estate when trying to decide if we wanted to buy our vacation home in the Smoky Mountains or along the ocean. This home combines both the gorgeous views experienced when staying in a chalet amidst pine trees and serene water views with Cape San Blas in the distance. It has balconies with seating off of most of the rooms of the house. Most of the balconies are completely screened-in including screens under the decks to prevent any insects from joining the relaxation you deserve when being a guest at Calypso Light Haus. The front porch deck is not screened in which allows guests to feel one with nature while taking photos of the sunsets and/or stunning water views without obstruction from the screens. Likewise, one of the 4 balconies in the back also is unscreened for taking pictures of the sunrises, wild life in the conservation area including cardinals, hawks, & a variety of other wild-life. There is a lovely patio area on the ground level, with citrus trees, shells, drift wood, sand, and a fire pit with seats, all of which allow guests to enjoy campfires, and cooler breezes in the evening, even when daytime temperatures climb above 90. The house is 3 floors with an elevator for adult use only. A golf cart and bikes are currently offered free of charge. The home includes 4 beach chairs and a beach umbrella as well as plenty of additional patio seating. Extremely well-behaved pets are sometimes permitted for an extra fee and on a case-by-case basis. Visit our Facebook page which includes more photos of most rooms, things to do, explanations, etc. Go to the Facebook page, click on the Photos tab , then click on the Albums tab to see multiple albums of various areas of the estate. Since it won't all the address, just do a Facebook search for Calypso Light Haus. See this Facebook website above to click on the "photos" tab at the top and then under "albums" click on "See all" to click on individual albums of the various rooms and sleeping areas located within this spacious, magical, hotel-like yet heart-warming home. Yes, your stay includes the entire Most of 2023 is Available, except February is completely booked, & August 2022 - 2023 is mostly available. Multiple weeks or shorter stays are negotiable. There is a pool, within steps of the house which overlooks the ocean, plus 2 other pools within the community. Staying at Calypso Light Haus gives you access to all 3 pools, but our favorite is the "Quiet Pool" which is open only to residents and guests in our gated community portion of the development. People who stay in other areas of Windmark outside of our gated area with the estate homes, do not have access to our "Quiet Pool." Email to let us know what combination of any available dates fit your schedule. A pet might be approved on a case-by-case basis for an extra fee,. We require a signed contract with a list of guests . Exit cleaning is 325.00. We will email you the signed contract. Text or call to request a contract.
