This non-smoking apartment is one of four individual apartments located within a house that has been divided into four separate apartments. The property backs up to the Huron River and looks out over Frog Island. The house was built in the 1860's and sits in the heart of Ypsilanti's Historic District. I've worked hard to maintain the character of the period within this and the other apartments of the house. I think the pictures tell the story best. Most of the floors in this apartment are the original tongue and groove "soft-wood" (pine or poplar) that was and IS painted. Think of a painted pine front porch. This apartment has one off-street parking spot located behind the house. Guests will need to park on the street where no city parking permit is required. This house is surrounded by owner-occupied residences so that fact provides a good stability factor for the neighborhood. I don't think you'll find better location with regard to living near all there is to enjoy in Ypsilanti's depot town area. Owner pays for heat, water, heating of the water, and trash collection. Tenant pays for apartment electricity and gas for the stove.
