The Mill Creek neighborhood is not very large -- only a few blocks. The houses are a mix of craftsman bungalows and immediate post-WWII cottages (such as our own house). We're within walking distance of Kent's historical downtown, and also Kent Station. We're on the slope of East Hill, looking out over the valley. Our property is in the City View subdivision, which goes back to the early 1900s, and was subdivided by Thomas Alvord, one of the founders of the town.
