This home is an elevated dogtrot design. It has identical/reverse floorplans with 8' breezeway between them.) Two complete dwellings all under one roof. Each side has 1 bedroom, 1 bath, kitchen, living area and laundry. I kept one side strictly for myself and used the other for visitors. The 3.8 densely wooded acres provide total seclusion. There is a nice front porch and a magnificent elevated(lit) deck nestled in the woods. The tin roof will put you right to sleep. Probably the best setup for this house would be best for is if you have a child at MSU, then you buy this house and let them live in one side and keep the other side for yourselves when you come and visit. It is five minutes from the MSU campus. Don't pay outrageous prices for the condos in town when you can have this place and make money at the same time. I just wish I had a place to list all the great reviews I had when I rented the "extra" apartment out on VRBO for a while. This property is just off of a neighborhood (Belair) in east Oktibbeha County. It is 5 minutes to Starkville, 15 minutes to West Point, and 20 minutes from Columbus. It is close to the center of the "Golden Triangle." This would be great for a graduate student or anyone coming for continuing education or coming in connection with one of the many manufacturing facilities in the area.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
