    This is a two story townhouse that sits at the far western edge of the Devil's Thumb Townhome community facing a huge expanse of bluegrass lawn beyond which is an acre of "natural area" that belongs to the HOA and can never be built on. The home has an unobstructed view of the mountains (Flatirons) with access to a Boulder Open Space Mountain Park's trailhead that is only one block away on Bear Mountain Drive. Every room has been upgraded/remodeled in the past 15 years, some as recently as the last three years. One such remodel opened up a wall above the two story living room and added 40 square feet including a balcony, a closet, and book shelf in the upstairs bedroom/office. French doors open to a fenced courtyard in back of the house off the dining room which leads to the two car garage. The wall of the garage is covered in English Ivy, and there are beams with trellis's which extend from the garage to the house and are also covered in English Ivy to create a very cozy shaded "taverna" for outdoor dining and barbequeing. There are three mature trees in the courtyard as well--a silver Maple, a Bechtel Crab apple, and an American wild plum. In front of the townhouse we have another patio (with brick pavers) large enough for our wrought iron dining table and chairs for eating lunch or dinner in nice weather. There is an olympic sized outdoor swimming pool that is 50-60 yards from this townhome. Zillow has estimated our next door neighbor in #43 Benthaven at approximateluy $810,000 compared to our $617,000. That is strange because we are mirror images of each other, both with extensive remodeling--although ours is slightly bigger. #42 and #43 represent the largest models in this community, of which there are other models that range from 1360 to 1540 to 1660 square feet. Indeed, we are the biggest townhome in this row, yet other townhouses around us that are much smaller have higher Zestimates. It makes no sense. Finally, the siding was redone 7-8 years ago, and a new 50 year hail proof roof was put on about the same time.
