This is the best 1BR you will find in all of Bernal Heights. Very clean, bright, open unit (newly constructed in 2010) with an awesome walkout deck and southern views. The unit is centrally located on the best block and side of the street on Cortland (which is Bernal's Main Street) and sits one level above street level. It's really great for anybody that works remote given it's bright, spacious and has an awesome deck on which to decompress. The open area has four skylights (one operable) and a large sliding door onto the awesome deck, so the main living space has just a great bright feel to it. The great view from the deck includes the bay (see pics). The interior of the apartment has also just been painted. In the past, when I post this unit, it usually rents fairly quickly so if you are seriously interested, please reach out soon. Here are some details a recent tenant suggested I highlight (this tenant worked from home) as he told me that the pictures I post don't really do the unit justice. - Steps from Good Life Market. I never stand in line for groceries, I just stop there opportunistically when there isn't a line. - The food scene on Cortland has gotten better. It's been really nice to have lots of take-out options within walking distance. - Sunny south-facing deck, perfect for a break from the Zoom calls. - Skylights and lots of windows for air flow and good video call lighting. - Close to Bernal Hill for daily hikes. - Modern construction, no carpet. - Also, the trifecta of gas range, dishwasher, and in-unit laundry with nicer appliances. - Really easy street parking. This was a surprise for me when I moved in, but I've only had to park more than a block or two away a few times and there's the extended red zone in front that is convenient for unloading. - Minimum 12 month lease - Tenant pays water and PG&E (separately metered)
