Fircrest winds up the mountain from the city street below. There are 17 home on Fircrest. Ours is the 13th home. The neighborhood is upscale casual. Immediate neighbors include a contractor, a dentist, two retired couples, the major car dealer in town, the college president and two business owners. 420 would be considered the least valuable of all the homes on the street. The road becomes private 150 yards from our driveway. Though we are 2/3 of a mile up a mountain road, we are only ten minutes from the county courthouse and downtown.
