With permission from my landlord (who is absolutely amazing), I am listing this apartment in hopes of finding someone to move-in when I depart in January 2017. This is a 2BR/1BA apartment in the Historic North Slope neighborhood. The complex is called The Shenandoah (420 North K Street) and it is a wonderful community. K Street is a quiet, tree-lined street, with beautiful homes. The apartment is walking distance to Stadium High School, Stadium Thriftway (grocery store), Wright Park, and just a few blocks from 6th Avenue shops, restaurants, and cafes. This specific apartment, #8, is on the ground level and has TWO entrances. One exterior entrance with your own private walkway and huge glass sliding door and one interior entrance which leads to your carport (yes, one parking spot is included!). The apartment is spacious! With over 1,000 square feet, the apartment offers a gigantic living room and dining room, two big bedrooms, and one bathroom just off the main bedroom. The main bedroom has a large walk-in closet with extra shelves. The second bedroom has an equally large closet with even more shelves. The kitchen is big and includes tons of pantry storage, tall cabinets, and all the major appliances: stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Additionally, there are two (2) hallways closets for ample storage. In-unit washer and dryer included! The rent for 2017 will be $1,125 per month. What a steal! The deposit is only $900. The Shenandoah permits indoor cats ONLY (no dogs) and will require a small pet deposit. Our landlord, Diane, is the most amazing person and we absolutely adore her. She responds promptly to facilities issues and concerns and has a handyman who completes tasks quickly and professionally. The apartment will be available after JANUARY 9, 2017.
