Definitive home records are hard to find for this property, so I don't know for sure, but I THINK that the front house (4210 Illinois St) is a Sears Craftsman kit house, and it and its garage were built in 1925 or 1926. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Somewhere between 1925 and 2009 (when I bought it), the garage was converted to a residential unit, and a bathroom, kitchen and studio were added onto it - which is 4208 Illinois St. Neither the County or City of San Diego, nor the realtor who sold the house to me, can tell me when the conversion took place, or definitively when the house was built. 1,332 SqFt for 4208-4210 combined and 3,750 SqFt lot? If you say so. Neither the selling realtor nor city/county records know for sure. I measured it all a few years ago, and I THINK I remember those #s being close. Anybody know for sure how to measure property SqFt (inside wall-to-wall, or outside dimensions? Include garage? Include attic space, since there is flooring up there?)?
