    . We have just started showing our house in Mancos, Colorado. We are sellig the house "as is" and FSBO. We have lowered the price as we want to move fairly quickly. Our house and 3 flat acres is surrounded by outstanding views of the La Plata Mountains, Mesa Verde National Park and a Great View of the mountains to the south. The night skies are beautiful and the sunsets are are beautiful too. The house has a large master bedroom and a full bath in the hallway. There are two more smaller bedrooms upstairs and the views are great from these rooms. Downstairs, there is an adorable kitchen with a door that leads you to the deck and the large fenced backyard. There is a living room, a den,one full bath with a tub (no shower)and one more room that can be used for your laundry room, office or bedroom. Some updates within the last 3 years include: new carpet in some rooms with original wood floors underneath, New ceiling tiles in the living room, New large hot water heater, new double pane windows except for one that needs a new piece of glass installed. There are several original windows that we have not done anything to. The exterior of the house has been painted and we are finishing up the painting of the interior. The back yard has roses, a cherry tree grove (best pies ever) many plum trees, large cottonwoods, pines and spruce., native wildflowers and several small ponds for the birds. There is a privacy fence around the yard for your pets. It was the first or one of the first to be built in the Beautiful Mancos Valley. The year was 1890 and it still has some of its original beauty. If you own or have a desire to own livestock it would be a terrific place for them and there are still corrals on the property. In the past, we rented some of the land to individuals that had a tiny house and a rv in the back. If you decide to rent out the land the income received would most likely cover a sizeable portion of your mortgage. There are lots of options for the land. There is a large workshop behind the house and It dates back to the days of the railroad in our area. It could be used for a garage, studio, storage or keep it as a workshop. We are within walking distance to the Mancos downtown and we are 29 miles one way to the neat town of Durango, Colorado. If you like to explore there are plenty of beautiful places to visit by horse, car, hiking, biking, skiing, the list is endless. The address is 42160 old highway 160, Mancos, Colorado..Just to let you all know that the county record is incorrect. It shows that we paid $29,900 for our house and land in 2006. It was actually $299,900... I have tried to correct it but no luck. . There are so many possibilities for the land. you could have farm animals, grow veggies, rent it out as we have done before. the list is endless. Being sold "As Is".
