Inova Fairfax Hospital and Mosaic Shopping Center, with many great restaurants, are nearby; the house is near major roads like I-66, I-123, I-7, I-50, and I-495; and it is in a great, quiet neighborhood with Homeowner Associations. The neighborhood is child-friendly; no through traffic from non-residents. The neighborhood is near an emergency care facility and the fire department. Near several grocery stores. The city usually has several annual events, such as the Chocolate Festival, the 4th of July parade, the Fall Festival, and free summer concerts at City Hall, all within walking distance. Several updates have been made in the last few years: including a new roof, two higher-end dual-zone HVAC systems, new handrails in front of the house by front door entrance, brand new toilets installed in 2025 in the main level and master bathroom; new garage door; a new high end fan with lights in the family room, new blindes on most windows on the main level, a new 70+ gallon water heater, a new garage door, and new granite-style countertops in the kitchen. In addition, all appliances are stainless steel; all, including the wall oven, washer, and dryer, have been replaced in the last few years. Two large luxury chandeliers, one inside by the front door as noted above, and one in the kitchen nook. The house was built with many updates by the builder. The neighborhood has many owner-occupied homes, and several are still owned by the original owners. The owner pays for the home warranty, which covers internal plumbing, internal electrical, and appliances. In addition, the owner pays for general lawn care, including fertilization and weed control, through TrueGreen. The previously taken picture of the kitchen does not show the later-installed granite-style countertops and stainless steel appliances. Fairfax County High Schools Ranked Among the Best in Virginia and the Nation by U.S. News and World Report: "FCPS is home to seven of Virginia's top ten high schools including the #5 ranked high school in the nation as well as four of the state's top 15 middle schools, and five of the state's top ten elementary schools."
