In 2017, we purchased the home and began extensive renovations, replacing termite-eaten wood throughout, from top to bottom, gutting and recreating the kitchen, replacing all flooring and drywall, replacing all electric and plumbing, replacing the electric water heater with a tankless water heater, and replacing the retrofitted package HVAC with a five-zone mini-split HVAC. The roof had been replaced just before we bought it, so it had that going for it. The first upgrade was the replacement of the fence surrounding the yard and the installation of hi-def security cameras with outdoor lighting. When finished, there will be a single master suite with an enlarged bathroom and walk-in closet.
