This was the description when we bought our house "STUNNING.. One word to describe this home. A rare find in this area; this home features 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Since we bought the home in 2012 we gutted the 1945 kitchen to make way for our brand new kitchen. Granite Counters, Cherry Cabinets, SS Double Oven, SS Hood Vent, SS French Door Refrigerator, SS Dishwasher, SS Deep Basin Sink, etc... we wanted a kitchen that could serve as the focal point for our entire house. We added archways to enhance the homes natural character and opened walls to make for a better flow. We worked on the front yard through the winter of 2013 and covered ever inch of grass with a low maintenance approach that included a retaining wall, raised garden, river rock, slate, Japanese maples, plenty of perennials, a lot of mulch, etc.. In 2015 we started our latest project which is a 700sqft addition that includes a massive Bonus Room, Dining Room, and Storage Room. We're also adding a concrete driveway, upgrading the decades old A/C unit, and starting the beginning phases of redesigning our backyard. Thats where our house stands at the moment, a few years down the road we would love to add a garage, workshop, and maybe even a pool... but we will figure that out when the time comes :) In the meantime we're enjoying this beautiful house and all of the incredible growth springing up around us (MODERNA, Oakhurst STEAM, Meridian Place Mixed-Use Development, and plenty more).
