I had a complete metal roof, underpinning, and carport done last year. Also had a brand new indoor central heat and air put outside and had all the underneath vents redone before getting the new metal underpinning which keeps rodents out and provides better insulation. This was my first home as a single mother with two kids and we have lived here for almost 12 years and absolutely love it as well as love the area we are in and the peace and privacy it provides....but, because of our families circumstances we need to be closer to our elders. It's almost two acres and the neighbors are close but not too close, everyone around here is very family-oriented and loving and kind and this is a great starter home for a family or even a long-term place where you can build as much as you want on the property and of course the value of the property will continue going up because it is in Rockwall County and the way that Rockwall and Royse City are growing, I have no doubt this land itself will be worth much more in the future...but at this point, I'm more concerned about being around my grandparents than anything, which is the only reason I've considered to sell.
