I have a seasonal business & no longer have time to maintain the yard and do updates myself. Plus, I have aging parents out-of-state. A few years ago I started to make the exterior features as maintenance "free" as possible. In 2015, the paver patio was replaced with a poured concrete patio connected to a concrete sidewalk that runs the entire length of the south side of the house to the driveway. Trees planted years ago are finally maturing. New roof (dimensional shingles) done in 2004, all new wood windows (Pella double-hung) done in 2004/5. New back door installed 2006 with key code entry; new front door with sidelights installed 2013. High efficiency wood burning fireplace insert installed 2013 (really heats the place up!). Kitchen update finished in Feb of 2016: new cabinets, granite counters, tile back splash, stainless steel sink & appliances (all Samsung). Pics on site have not been updated yet... If you are a boat/water/dog enthusiast... the neighborhood backs up to the Alum Creek Resevoir Marina (hence, the name of the subdivision), a dog park and Alum Creek Lake State Park. There are also two golf courses and Polaris Fashion Place Mall within 5 miles!
