44 Lispenard Street, is a boutique five-unit condominium in the Tribeca East Historic District, between Broadway and Church Streets. In the 1980s artists and other tenants were renting in what was labeled live/workspaces in the loft buildings of the neighborhood. In the mid-1990s, Thicket & Kurt Mundahl, two art galleries moved into 44 Lispenard, signifying another switch of building use. Gradually many properties throughout Soho and then Tribeca changed use. In 1998, 44 Lispenard was converted for residential living. Lispenard Street is not a thoroughfare, it is a lovely quiet block.
