This one of a kind cabin sits 3/4 miles into the SB Nation forest sitting on a mountain with the best views in Big Bear from every room. One of a kind, best location, fourseason cabin, so close to town yet so isolated. The cabin started back in the 30's with a captain who was the original creator of this cabin, it was established with forestry in 1944 where he then lived until 1952. Two World War 11 vet ladies then lived there for over 60 years. They also owned the Summit Magazine (this is where "Summit House" got its name). The ladies grew older and could no longer care for the cabin so they passed it on to the present day owners who had plans of growing old together in this charming cabin, due to medical reasons the plan has changed and the owners are looking for someone with the intentions of keeping it for a lifetime and making great memories. This cabin comes with a snowblower and small plow tractor. The main house sleeps 8 and is 4 season, guest cabin sleeps 2-4 and is 3 season.
