We live on this beautiful piece of property here in Florida. It is 5.8 acres of heavily wooded, planted pines. We have lived here for nearly 10 years and have thoroughly enjoyed how secluded our little slice of heaven is. We have done very little to the woods that surround our home because it has attracted more birds and beautiful wildlife, which we love. I have seen many rare birds here and have always had an abundance of blue jays, cardinals and wood peckers. When you turn into the property, you follow the drive down to our home. The home is completely surrounded by the pine trees, yet there is plenty of room to go out and enjoy the property itself. We cleared just enough around our house to have a pool in the back, a few nooks to plant some plants and park trailers, etc, without them being an eyesore. I also have a beautiful peach tree that I planted in the front yard 7 years ago, which is finally producing over 500 peaches yearly now ?? Location is awesome! Our property is located on a road that only 5 people live on and it dead ends, so there is no reason for anyone to be out in this area unless they live here, making safety more able to stay on top of. Our home is only 20 minutes away from Gainesville, Home of The Florida Gators and an amazing college town, full of lots of opportunities. I have lived in this town for 40 years of my life and can vouch for nearly all of our neighbors to be fine people. It is a nice area to live in. With all of the crime these days, that is very important. My husband and I have enjoyed our life on this property. We were married on this property and have many wonderful memories here! The only reason we want to sell, is because we would like to do some traveling. We are Florida born and raised and would like to see a little more of the country. We have never had children and think this would be a great opportunity to sell out and travel.
