    What's special

Perfect location. Lovely "white picket fence" home. Owned by same family for 50+ years, a lot of love went into making this house a comfortable home. Private fenced backyard, perfect for dogs. Gardener's canvas in front yard. Cozy porch to sit and watch the world go by. Within short walking distance to food, pharmacy, and convenience stores, as well as a 5 minute stroll to 3 different churches, as well as to a beautiful and peaceful pond with gazebo park and free concerts in the summer. Rutgers is a 15 minute drive, and good elementary and middle schools are within a 5 minute commute or 30 minutes walking. Playgrounds and parks (all updated in 2020) are nearby, as well as a long-standing and popular farm stand that boasts animals for the kids to visit. All-in-all, the neighborhood is lovely, the people are friendly, and it is a great place to raise a family, especially younger kids. If the picket fence doesn't win you over at the outset, then step inside. There is a "toy/meditation" room to the left as you walk in, with a multitude of sunlight and breeze. The family and dining rooms are open concept and the kitchen has updated features. The bathrooms need modernizing, and the bedrooms are nice sized (there is a perfect "baby room" in the back on the second floor). This is a homey house, a family-friendly neighborhood, and a centrally located street (trains are within a 20 minute walking distance, and the bus stop is one block down). Overall this is a good commuting home, a good family home, and a good home for anyone wanting to settle down and put down roots. The present family will miss the ambience but are happy to pass it down to the next generation.
