We did a complete remodel of our house in 2018 and designed this apartment so it is a nice, spacious living space with easy access on a sloping walkway to the covered patio that leads to the entrance. The view of Mt. Olympus is stunning. The neighborhood has a nice, secluded feel. But there is easy access to the 215 beltway, I-80, and the canyons. Shopping/cafes at Canyon Rim is minutes away. The apartment is perfect for 1 or 2 adults. It is not designed for children. The yard is beautiful, but not fenced, and there is no lawn. We are minutes away from U of U campus, downtown, and the airport. The apartment is unfurnished. There is a washer and dryer included in a small laundry room in the apartment. There is a secure storage closet for bikes, ski equipment, etc. near the entrance. The rental fee of $1695 includes all utilities, WiFi, high speed broadband internet, cable, fees. There would be an exception if you have an electric vehicle and want to charge it here. We would need to charge for that additional electricity. There is a security deposit of $1695 required, of which $100 is non-refundable. The rest is refunded depending on condition of apartment when vacated. We do require renters insurance. Since this apartment is a part of our home, we require background check and credit check, and minimum credit score. We also require referrals from employers and past landlords. We are affirming. We also require in person interviews to screen applicants for compatibility. The apartment is completely separate with its own entrance, but we do share the property. Tenant will be responsible for clearing snow on the walkway to the apartment entrance, and on the driveway when we are out of town. We reserve one side of the driveway for tenant parking. No pets. And no smoking of any kind on the property. The rent of $1695 includes all fees and utilities and wifi(high speed broadband) and cable. There is one parking spot available in the driveway for our tenant. The apartment is unfurnished. There is a full bath, and two bedrooms, a living room/full kitchen. There is a covered patio entrance area, and a deck near the entrance. This apartment is perfect for one or two tenants. No smoking of any kind on in the apartment or on the property, not even the driveway or anywhere in the yard. No pets. The lease duration is negotiable, with a minimum of 3 months.
