Large basement apartment in Shared house with two roommates living upstairs. This is a short term (month to month) lease with the option to stay longer if desired. I have lived in this house for the past 3 years and am moving out simply to have my own space. I have known the roommates who I share the house with for many years and they are both kind and interesting people. They have also rented this house for over a decade now. We are in our mid to late 30's. There are two very friendly but sometimes shy cats living upstairs as well. The downstairs floor which you will have to yourself has quite a lot of space. There is a large kitchen with dishwasher, full size refrigerator, and plenty of cabinet space. For cooking downstairs I use hotplates but there is a stovetop with oven in the kitchen upstairs that you are also welcome to use. The downstairs features a private bathroom with shower. The bedroom is huge and has a futon and bed platform that were there when I moved in. There is a large walk-in closet as well as a window leading up to ground level to let natural light in. The downstairs flooring is tile and the upstairs is wood. Upstairs there is a large living room area, a cute sunroom, and the backyard has a great view of the flatirons. There is a washer and dryer at the top of the stairs leading out of the basement. There is no AC but the basement stays at a reasonably cool temperature due to being underground. Heat works great when it is cold outside. Rent is $1100 a month and includes utilities which for the space is a great deal in my opinion given the location. As a house we occasionally get together for shared meals or a backyard cookout but this is not a party house as we have all been out of college for sometime now. The house is very close to the table mesa park and ride and many other bus lines that operate in Boulder. Lease is a month to month agreement between current roommates and new tenant
