    This home was built new in 2006 on the footprint of a 1940s single family home. It is open plan with hardwood floors, cherry finish, custom cabinetry, lots of windows and great southern exposure, and was built with great attention to detail. In 2016 the floors and walls were redone. It's in Burlington's "Five Sisters" neighborhood It's in Burlington's "Five Sisters" neighborhood, which is sought after for its easy walks to downtown, schools, beaches, a large park at the end of the block, and the burgeoning Pine Street ("Pint Street") region which has become a mecca of breweries, eateries, arts and entertainment. The house sits on an oversize lot with a large grassy yard that is currently fenced for a dog. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and full bath, linen closet (and laundry chute!). The master bedroom has windows on 3 sides with gorgeous light, a walk-in closet with built-in dresser, and a private balcony. The main level is open plan with with dining and living spaces, modern kitchen, pantry, and a green-slate entrance hallway with 1/2 bath. There is a front sitting porch, and a large rear deck. The deck has a hot tub built into one corner of it - this is not included in the standard lease, but can be negotiated. The "basement" is mostly above ground with full height windows. A large, finished play/media room with attached closet/storage room has a 3/4 bath across the hall, and could be thought of as a private suite. The remainder of the basement has a utility sink, workbench, newly replaced washer and dryer, and utility wall with central vacuum, on-demand hot-water heater, solar electric control panel, etc. The rear entrance has shelving and storage for coats, boots, skis, etc. A detached storage shed could possibly fit a Mini Cooper size car in it's larger section, but it would be tight. It is possible to rent the house furnished or partially furnished, especially if we reach an agreement before the movers come! Pets are allowed, with a pet interview. The renter is responsible for utilities, trash and compost removal, snow removal and lawn care. Recycling is free. Note: I'm planning to make this lease until June/July, which tends to be a better time if/when turning over a lease is needed. Renewal of the lease as a 1 year or multi-year lease, then, is probable but not guaranteed.
