Shared Space:
This 4-bedroom condo occupies the second and third floors of a two-unit home and is ideal for working professionals looking for a quiet, comfortable space with easy access to Boston. Hardwood floors run throughout the home, which features central A/C, in-unit laundry, a dishwasher, gas fireplace, 2.5 bathrooms, and additional storage space if needed. The primary bathroom on the top floor includes a recently renovated shower.
In addition to the main living areas, the home includes a finished basement level that provides extra shared living space, complete with a second kitchenette area, refrigerator, microwave, sink, and a full bathroom perfect for relaxing, working from home, or hosting guests.
Enjoy both front and back porches with views of the nearby park and planes arriving and departing Logan Airport. On- and off-street parking are available.
Located in a quiet residential neighborhood just minutes from Winthrop Center, local restaurants, and beaches. The bus stop is a 1-minute walk from the house, and Orient Heights Station is only a 5-minute drive away. Lease Terms Summary:
- 1-year lease, then month-to-month. Either party may terminate with 30 days notice after initial term.
- Rent due on the 1st of each month.
- Security deposit equal to 1 month's rent, refundable less damages, unpaid rent/utilities, or excessive cleaning beyond normal wear and tear.
Utilities:
Utilities (electric, gas, internet, etc.) are split evenly among roommates. Water is included.
House Rules / Shared Living Expectations:
Respectful shared living environment expected. Tenants must clean up after themselves in all common areas (kitchen, bathrooms, basement living space, etc.), respect shared spaces and belongings, and avoid leaving personal items in common areas long-term.
Guests:
Occasional guests are welcome. No long-term stays without prior approval from roommates/owners.
Quiet Hours:
10pm-8am on weekdays. Weekend hours are more flexible but subject to mutual respect and agreement among roommates.
Smoking:
No smoking indoors. Preference for non-cigarette smokers.
Pets:
Pets negotiable and subject to approval of all roommates/owners, potentially with additional deposit or conditions.
Parking:
Driveway parking available on a first-come basis, with homeowner vehicles having priority. Additional on/off-street parking is easily available.
Maintenance / Property Care:
Tenants are responsible for reporting maintenance issues promptly and for any damage beyond normal wear and tear.
Shared Space Expectations:
All residents are expected to maintain cleanliness and respect in shared areas, including kitchen, bathrooms, and basement living space. Shared responsibility for keeping these areas tidy and functional.
Housemate details
Three guys in our 20's/30's. Two engineers and one insurance agent. We mostly work in-office M-F, but occasionally WFH. All love live music, playing instruments, sports, outdoor activities and going out on weekends.
