We will contact past landlords for references. In addition, we screen all applicants through a credit and criminal check to assess applicants' background and creditworthiness. While we understand that some applicants may have less than perfect credit, a history of evictions or recent bankruptcies, or certain criminal convictions may lead to the rejection of the application.
