Drummond is responsible for it's own trash pick-up, street maintenance and snow removal, tree maintenance and more. There is a small additional tax applied to property in Drummond. The Citizens Committee, which changes each year has a Mayor, Secretary and Treasurer. Most of the homes in Drummond are on large lots, the wide grassy space bwteen the street and sidewalk and the symetricaly planted trees, which canopy the street, make make Drummond one of the "Prettiest Streets" by Bethesda Magazine.
