We did extensive remodel of the home in late 2005 and early 2006. Refinished fir floors, totally new kitchen with custom birch trim and cabinets and sustainable cork floors, new bathroom with beautiful tile and radiant heat flooring, replaced many windows (with beautiful all wood double-hung - the rest will be done soon). All work was done with environmentally friendly products. Neighborhood Description Location is amazing. House is a short walk from Columbia City’s great restaurants, bakery, shops, coffee house, library and community centers. House is right next to Genesee Park which has trails through community parks (green spaces, playfields, etc) leading to Lake Washington. We have found it the most friendly and diverse neighborhood in Seattle. Easy bus ride to downtown and a 10 minute walk from future light rail site.
