While this is my favorite apartment I've ever lived in, I am sadly leaving the neighborhood to move in with my partner, and am looking for someone to start a new lease at my apartment for May 1, 2018. It is a top floor 1 bedroom/1 bath apartment in a converted Victorian home on the 4500 block of Pine St. The building is extremely quiet and the other tenants consist of professionals, med students, and grad students. The location is extremely convenient to University City (UPenn, Drexel, USciences). It is 3 blocks from the 34 trolley that takes you into center city. The neighborhood has a great yoga studio, a variety of different restaurants/cafes, the Mariposa Co-op, and Clark Park. The community in this neighborhood is very welcoming and people are very neighborly. The living room is large and gets great natural light. There is a utility closet for storage in the living room. The kitchen also gets great natural light. Kitchen comes with all appliances. A hallway leads you to the bathroom and bedroom. The bedroom is very large (it fits my queen sized bed and a love seat). The bedroom gets amazing natural light as well, with 3 windows. The closet is large, and goes even deeper than you can see in the picture. The building has laundry on the first floor. There is also room on the first floor to store a bike. The unit has gas heat using a thermostat, and window unit air conditioning (i have one in the bedroom and one in the living room - if you'd like to purchase these from me, we can discuss). Rent is $900/month and utilities have never run me more than $75 total for electric and gas. The windows are new and do a great job of keeping the apartment insulated. There is a small driveway which makes moving much easier, and also is nice to use to drop off groceries/other heavy items. Street parking is readily available on the block though. The property is managed by NPDF, and management company located just 3 blocks away. You can pay your rent online on their website, and make maintenance requests on line as well. I've had timely responses to my maintenance requests during my time in the apartment. Please contact me if you're interested in seeing it! I will be showing it, then forwarding anyone who is interested onto the management company to go through the leasing process. Thanks!
