Hi, we have a sunny, charming 1 +1/2 bedroom taking up the 3rd floor of our antique little building on a relatively quiet, tree-lined street in downtown Brooklyn, available immediately for short or long term, furnished or unfurnished. It's fully equipped, disinfected and sparkling clean to provide a healthy refuge. I'm the owner and live on the bottom floor. I can show it to individuals by appointment, and/or we can video chat. We are a 10 minute walk to many trains -- the A, C, F, R, B and Q, and a 12 minute walk to the 2, 3, 4 or 5. Citibike is around the corner. The Brooklyn Bridge is 2 blocks away, and the Manhattan Bridge is 1 block. In 15 minutes you can walk to the East River at Brooklyn Bridge Park. Hot water and heat are included. There's a washer and dryer in the kitchen, microwave, 2 window unit air conditioners, and brand new safely- encased memory foam mattresses in the 2 bedrooms -- one queen size and one twin size. There are 3 good-sized rooms that open one into the next in a floor-through arrangement -- kitchen, living room and bedroom; then a little bedroom off the main bedroom, and the bathroom off the kitchen, with a big claw-foot bathtub and shower. There are 6 windows, 3 at each end, and beautiful light. There are lovely antique tin ceilings. There's no elevator -- it's a walk-up. It works best for singles, couples or someone with a child, since the little 1/2 bedroom opens off the main bedroom. It can be used as an office, creative room, or dressing room. We have a no pets policy in the building, and no smoking or incense, please.
