Hello! We're the owners living on the property looking to rent out one side of our house. The house was gutted and rebuilt from inside and out in 2018. It is set up as a duplex where we(a couple in our late 30's) live on one side with our own amenities. The side for rent has two bedrooms and two baths. Plus a large living room, a separate dining space, and a library/bonus space in the back of the house that leads to a large deck. Everything you see in the pictures belong to the side that's for rent. The two sides have their separate amenities except for the shared laundry room that's on your side. There's definitely plenty of privacy for each side and we want to create a friendly and supportive household together where we could have occasional house outings and backyard hangings. The house is located off Springdale Road, right behind the Springdale Farm. We're within walking distance to cafes(Flitch, Sa-Ten), restaurants(Sawyers, Austin Daily Press), gyms( Austin Bouldering Project, Sky Candy), bars(Friends and Allies Brewery, EastCiders, Central Machine works), the list goes on. HEB is less than a mile away. We have two indoor/outdoor cats and five free ranging backyard chickens. We welcome more chicken friendly pet housemates! The rent is $1600/month with $1600 deposit. We will share all utilities including internet cost which averages $80 per person per month. If you come with a pet housemate, a $300 pet deposit is required. The space is available long term, we're asking for a 6 months term to start. There's some construction going on in the backyard and will finish by the time you move in, will be happy to discuss more in person :) The furniture in the photos are no longer here by the way but the space can be furnished with basic furniture if needed.
