The home sits on a six inch SLAB of cement with about 12inchs sticking out around it enough room to walk on..It's in the process of being remodel.. Due to the flood we where able to get 12 inches of water.. But it drained fast and we stripped all insulation, sheetrock, and electrical out. All new wiring, all new outlets and switches..also went back with 1/2 in sheetrock outer walls and 3/8 innerwalls plus everywall is insulated. Makes a big difference in sound, heating,and cooling..The electric bill has cut in half..
