For rent, a great apartment in a historic house downtown. Lots of space, lots of closets space, very bright with lots of great natural light. This apartment is located just 1.5 blocks from the College of Charleston (if you stand in the street you can actually see the college from in front of the house. However, this is a very quiet block without any loud partying or late-night nonsense. I am looking for equally responsible and dependable tenants. You can't see MUSC from there but it is just a 5 minute bike ride or a 12 minute walk. The apartment is on two floors, the first being the living room, with a working fireplace, a bedroom with an absolutely huge closet, then a dining room, which the last tenants used as a music room, a full bathroom where the washer and dryer are located and furthest back is the kitchen, which has lots of cabinet space. Stainless steel appliances, the refrigerator is brand new -- it has never been used. Upstairs are two more bedrooms with a bathroom between them. These bedrooms are very cool with lofts in each, so you can have your bed upstairs and use the rest of the room below for your desk, sofa, or however you want to decorate. The house is 200 years old but has all the modern conveniences like Central Heat and Air, updated electrical, insulation, storm windows with screens for when the weather gets a bit cooler, Washer and Dryer, etc. There is a large back yard -- actually very long (120 ft.) and quite narrow (20 ft.) if that's the same as 'large.' This apartment is the largest part of the house but there is also an efficiency apartment in the rear of the second floor. It has its own entrance and utilities so you don't share any spaces. The tenant there is a very quiet and polite College of Charleston student. The rent is an absolute bargain at $700 per bedroom. Tenants put all utilities in their names
