We're located on 20 acres of a private country estate, which is itself surrounded by over 1,500 acres of forest and open, conserved farmland. The Appalachian Trail is only a 5-minute walk from the house! Explore the surrounding countryside on day-hikes; plant a vegetable garden; enjoy summer days by the pool, and cozy winters by the fire. Your only neighbors are the owners and caretakers living in a nearby farmhouse. The house itself is adorable, spacious, and light-filled, with floor-to-ceiling windows, and glass doors overlooking your private pool, garden, and the sweeping lawn and meadow beyond. UPDATE: the pool has now been closed for the season. -Full pool service included during the summer months. The pool is yours to use exclusively. -Electricity is included -Propane for heating is not included. The guesthouse is well-insulated and energy efficient, but we request the cost of refilling the propane tank upon vacancy. -Free high-speed wifi included -Pets are very welcome! But we do ask for a $150 cleaning fee for each animal. Any permanent damage incurred to hardwood floors, etc. may incur additional fees (we're reasonable normal wear and tear expected). -The property owners live in a separate house nearby. The owners are very friendly, and are committed to fully respecting your privacy, but are also fully available to address any house problems!
