Planning to build now, or in the future but want the right property, with the right amenities where you can be comfortable enough to settle in while you take the time to do it right??? Well, here you go.. This property has 2 great old, usable barns, a storage shed and a milk shed. And, there's a partially built out quasi-cabin for temporary living. It's connected to electric, fiber cable, and public water; and, there's a new septic system for 4 bedrooms, that needs some finishing. It's a good property for a few horses and other animals with a pond and plenty of rolling wooded land. Actually, it's not hard to walk, except for the very back, and there are many trails. The property rises up gently through cleared fields on both sides with your own private valley in the middle where that big pond is hidden. It overflows into a creek that runs down to the bottom. There are many potential build sites in the middle sections of the hills, which are loaded with really pretty, smaller Christmas Tree type pines, hardwoods and a few cherry trees, so they say. The property rises all the way up the mountain to the top, where far up, the land is steep and the woods are tall. I think there is a hidden flat way up there that will be a big surprise. It shows up on the topo so...... let's go see what might be the most amazing build site ever! The land is south facing and already views hills, fields, and mountains, even from its lower sections. I hear the wildlife is abundant and the hunting is good, as the property is surrounded by wilderness all around the top and sides. Yet, you are very close in town to everything you need for groceries, medical, churches, and other necessities. The original homestead, of what was once a huge farm, remains in very beautiful condition, and is occupied by a family that's still heir to its history. It is at the bottom of the property on it's own acre at the road. Quiet, peaceful, cordial living is the theme around here and the weather, well, it's perfect, with just enough of every full season, and plenty of color on the mountains. The Clinch River, known for being one of the cleanest rivers in the country with fish of all kinds runs on the other side of the mountain where there's a launch for tubing and canoeing. The lakes for boating are all nearby. Big City influence and resorts are just close enough--40 minutes to the towns of Rogersville and Morristown, and about 1/2 hour more to Knoxville, Gatlinburg, Sevierville, DollyWood, and the rest. A small cemetery (3 burials) is isolated up by the giant oaks, east side. NOTE: public water is at a spigot at the garage and it is also piped all the way up to the cabin shed. Refrigerator, TV, and tables will remain. Cabin is connected to fiber internet. Some of the wood for finishing the interior will also remain.
