The spacious bedroom is in an apartment that has a panoramic view of Lake Merritt from the living room. It is all one level (no steps to the entry.) You have your own separate bathroom (with a private entrance) with a shower over the tub. There is a kitchen with a breakfast area. I am a PHD student and I am a meditator. I am looking for a mature person who has a relatively quiet life style. Some furnishings are available if necessary. The building is near several bus lines, some of which go to San Francisco. There is a Trader Joes, a Walgreen, a Peets, an Arismendi, and several good restaurants are near by that are all easy to walk to. You will be within a short walking distance to the Lake & a Gym. Month to month, I would prefer that you stay 12+ months, however, I am flexible. The total PG&E is estimated at $200 to $300 per month depending on usage for the whole apartment. No pets allowed. No smoking at all. I will do my best to maintain good roommate etiquette, and I expect the same from any roommate. I have a cleaning service come in once a month to dust and vacuum and clean the windows. We would both appreciate it if you felt comfortable in contributing. Having that done on a regular basis sure makes life much nicer. I pay for a car slot in the carport. We can make an arrangement for your car as well, however, as a real estate appraiser I bounce in and out sometimes several times a day. Our arrangement would have to take that into account.
