Enjoy 2 large closets in your rooms and cupboard storage right outside your rooms. All on a quiet culdesac. Off street parking. Kitchen and patio privileges, along with three shelves in the fridge and cupboard space. We share the washer and dryer, located outside your bathroom. Quiet hours are 11 pm to 7 am. About us: We do not speak Spanish. My husband and I are in our late 50's. He is a runner and I recently completed the 200-mile John Muir Trail. We get up at 7 am, go to bed at 11 pm. My husband works from home full-time and I work from home 2 days per week. A ten-year-old Goldendoodle named Cooper is another house companion. We are super tidy. You won't see things lying around for more than a few hours in public spaces. Dishes go directly into the dishwasher. When you use the kitchen, it will be practically spotless. I was a research librarian for 17 years and now work at the Free Clinic of Simi Valley as a fundraiser 3 days/week. My husband works in the music production industry. He practices his string (non-amplified) guitar and voice occasionally during work hours, so we can't guarantee a Zoom-friendly environment at all times. We are a good option for people in transition or who can store most of their belongings off site. Furnished rooms The two rooms are furnished and while we cannot remove all of the furniture, we are flexible where possible. One room is a den, so we are able to offer one bedroom. Month to month. $1000 deposit. No lease. Our last tenant stayed here for 2 months until finding full-time roommates her age and the prior tenant stayed 8 months while her home was remodeled. Another tenant was here for 5 months and found her own place. Another stayed 8 months until finding a new job in Oregon. We want you to have the flexibility to "move on" if staying with us is just a temporary thing until you find your permanent place. I used to live in Wisconsin and rented rooms in my house there twenty years ago, before there were all the online services. One person in Wisconsin initially came for a month and stayed for over two years. All our agreements have been with a handshake. We require a one-month notice when you leave.
