Overton and adjoining Logandale are located approx. one hours drive north of Las Vegas and 35 - 40 minutes south of Mesquite, Nevada. It still has elements of the farming community it began as. It is quiet and relatively crime and pollution free yet only one hours drive from the excitement and shopping in Las Vegas, one of the most exciting cities in the world. The schools are excellent! The high school has incredible student participation with an incredible pep band. Various churches are actively represented. A brand new Catholic church will be finished this year.
