The neighborhood is a quiet cul-de-sac, with friendly neighbors of all ages, close to the park and hiking trail. The two large Timberidge developments are within walking distance, so friends in those are never far away but you have the peace of living in a small 9 house development. The Whitehall School buses, stop on the corner of our cul-de-sac, so children don't have to wait on a busy street and every house has a view of that corner so you can watch your older more independent children get on and off the bus. There are many local businesses literally 2 minutes from the house: The Bakery Nook, Kornfeinds, Mama's, New Concepts Hair Salon, Pizza Village, Polish Water Ice, Riley's Pub, and Valero Gas Station. These are places where the owners live in the area, take the time to get to know you and your family, and provide excellent value for their service. The Lehigh Valley Mall is less than 15 minutes from the house, and many businesses on Rt 145 and Cedar Crest Avenue are closer. The only reason we moved is because my husband's job was a 45 mile commute each way. Had it not been for that we would have stayed in our home indefinitely.
