This is a secluded hunting property located between Spring Creek and the Yellow Medicine River. There is a ¾ of a mile-long easement access trail that takes you to the eastern boundary of the property. The land is made up of upland grasses and approximately 1.5 acres of woods in the southeastern corner. Because of its location between the Yellow Medicine River and Spring Creek, this property sets up to be an excellent travel corridor for whitetail deer moving up and down both river bottoms. With most of the acres being native upland grasses, this will also be an excellent pheasant hunting tract. Turkey hunting could also be a possibility given the proximity to the Yellow Medicine River. All of the acres are enrolled in the Re-Invest in Minnesota (RIM) program. This is a perpetual conservation easement that protects the land from being farmed or built on in the future. However, this program does allow for habitat improvement projects such as planting food plots and grassland managment.
